Larry Alvarez was born and raised in
Texas. He has worked
with different wavelengths of light for well over 19 years and has developed a
deep respect for its mystery and potential. Besides being an avid
photographer he also has been into Solar photography and planetary photography
for 9 years.
His formal educational background includes a B.S.E.E.T.
Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology and a 1st Degree Black belt in Ji Mu
Do martial arts.
He started
imaging the sun and planets in 2000 after designing and building his first
telescope called the Millennium Telescope.
